I got this today from Torksey, its called 2279 Tubes Bucket, it seems pretty complete but there are no instructions. I'll add all the bricks to the Duplo box, there was half a dozen Lego pieces to, they'll go into the Lego Box. I'm doing pretty well for Duplo/Lego, I only buy it if the price is good, I saw the same set in the same condition today for a tenner.

Three more DVDs I bought this weekend, The Proposition, A Scanner Darkly, and Pans Labyrinth.

A Scanner Darkly is a single, the others are doubles, all where £1 each!

I found The Golden Years of Adventure Stories book this weekend, its full of reprints of early D C Thompson comic strips.

Not bad for 50p :)

These two DVDs came from Torksey yesterday The ISPR investigates Ghosts of England and Belgrave Hall and Weird Stories Werewolves.

They where 50p each!

I picked up six DVDs today from Torksey, it was a good day in general, good prices along with a lot of stalls!

The Convent, Ruthless Behaviour (Spanish Judges), Darkness, Sonata, The Tie That Binds, and Veronica Guerin.

And how much where they? Just 50p each!

Childrens Favourites 74 Original Classics CD

We found this in Asda today, Childrens Favourites 74 Original Classics CD, it was reduced of course.

We paid £1.50, not bad for a 3 CD set :)

Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh DVD

I got The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh DVD at the weekend, thats another Disney for the kids collection cheap :)

I paid £1.50 for it, still very good for a Disney DVD :)

Harold & Kumar Get the Munchies DVD

Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle (released in some countries as Harold & Kumar Get the Munchies) is a 2004 stoner comedy film. The plot revolves around the two pot-smoking title characters, who decide to go to the fast food restaurant White Castle after smoking marijuana, only to find themselves embarked on a series of comical misadventures.

I picked this up for £1, I've seen it a few years ago on TV, its a funny movie!

Delia Smiths Christmas Book

Delia Smiths Christmas is a collection of Christmas recipes from Delia Smith includes five different Christmas cakes, a complete vegetarian menu, recipes for gifts such as chocolate truffles, and many traditional favourites. There are also ideas for festive occasions from drinks parties to dinner parties, with dishes such as roast goose with potato, sage and apple stuffing; caramelized orange trifle; and a terrine with four cheeses.

We paid 20p for this from our local charity shop :)

Beano & Dandy A Spin Around The Sixties Book

This book is a compilation of Beano & Dandy reprints from the 1960s.

Dandy & Beano are a strange car boot phenomena, sellers believe they are worth about £3 each, no matter what year they are from, its probably the fault of on of those car boot TV shows, its not hard to work out they generally remain unsold! Normal annuals I don't bother with, but I fancied reading this!

Not bad for 50p :)

Spartan DVD

Kill Me Again DVD

Fay Forrester (Joanne Whalley) is an attractive young woman who wants to escape from her violent and jealous boyfriend Vince (Michael Madsen). She hires Jack Andrews (Val Kilmer), a second class private investigator to arrange her death. She wants to restart her life with a new identity and the money she got from helping Vince commit robberies. Due to Jack's financial problems he joins Fay after her fake death. Unfortunately, Vince finds out that Fay is still alive. The hunt for Jack, Fay and the money begins.

I was happy to pay 50p for this :)

I got this from Harby this weekend, a 2 DVD set, with The Fly & The Fly 2! Not bad for £1 :)

Conspiracy DVD

Based on the only surviving record of the infamous 1942 Wannsee Conference, the BBC/HBO produced Conspiracy reconstructs the two-hour meeting during which leading members of the SS and the Nazi government made definitive plans for the genocide of Europe's Jews.

Possibly not everyones cup of tea, but those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it!

Disney Countdown To Christmas DVD

Its not often you find Disney DVDS at car boots, and even if you do, they are normally very overpriced, or by the time you get there, they have gone!

Today I found Disney Countdown To Christmas DVD at Harby, a real bargain at £1, I'll put it away until Christmas I think, then someone will want to play it :)

I picked a few DVDs up today at Torksey, heres one of them, Open Season, the kids will like it :) Not bad for £1.

I found this movie at Torksey car boot yesterday for £1, I watched it last night, great movie!

I got Prehistoric Park DVD from Torksey today, perfect condition as always for just £1, its a series I missed but wanted to see, so bargain!

Something Weird She Freak & A Taste of Blood DVD

I found Something Weird Double Feature She Freak & A Taste Of Blood DVD this in a local charity bookshop this week, it is over 3.5 hours long, with 2 movies, some shorts and trailers.

I paid more than I usually pay for used DVDs, £2. but I think it was worth it!

2 George Schindler Magic Books

I used to like magic tricks, these two books look really good so I want to learn a few by Christmas :)

They cost me 20p each!

BBC Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer DVD

I was passing my local DVD rental shop, they had a bargain bin outside, so I looked through it. I found the BBC Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer DVD, still shrinkwrapped. I know its a bit silly ATM, but Christmas is always just around the corner!

Not a bad price, just £1!

A Selection of Duplo

I bought this Duplo from Torksey car boot today. I've found if they ask too much, just move on, theres some cheap ones at another stall, or next week :) By the time Emma can play with it I should have loads (and Lego too :) )
